Hugh Crabtree is the founder and "Bossman" of The Feast of Fiddles team.
From it's conception to present day , Hugh is the driving force within the team and a great inspiration for all who look on.

Hugh plays Melodeon and sings beautifully and generally keeps this unruly lot in order !

Playing in the band Whittakers Patent Remedy , with such members as John Underwood , Martin Vincent and Ian Sanderson on violin , much of what the "Feast " play now is based on the WPR arrangements.

He is based in Reading along with most of the members of the backline to the "Feast" and manages to organise , not only the Feast of Fiddles but a full time job as well !!

A supremely talented and funny man with a zest for life that is positively awesome.
