What is there to be said about Brian McNeill other than Battlefield Band and foot-stompingly brilliant.
Brian is one of the best traditional Scottish players around as well as a well published author.

He is witty , full of fun and his superb Scottish dance tunes will have the audience on their feet and dancing in seconds.

His antics on stage are by now legendary , particularly his trick with landing on the stage from a great height and sending Ian Cutler high into the air as a result !

He is also a novelist and has published two books. His solo albums have received critical acclaim and his live performances are in much demand. He has most recently taken up the post of Head of Scottish Music at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Dance in Glasgow and lives in Co. Durham .
